Pregnancy Week 22: Movement Baby

By 22 weeks pregnant your baby is happily swimming and moving around the womb. There is still plenty of space for your baby to move about freely. Sometimes you may find this a bit uncomfortable as your baby will move from side to side or flip up and down.

May times babies move after you eat or drink something. Many women like to sip a bit of juice and recline to watch the effects of their baby.

You should be feeling relatively energetic still by 22 weeks pregnancy. Most women find this the honeymoon trimester of pregnancy, one where they experience few pregnancy side effects and much of the joy that comes with being pregnant.

One step you can take to prevent uncomfortable pregnancy side effects is invest in a pair of support stockings. Maternity support stockings help promote circulation in your legs and help reduce any pain or discomfort associated with varicose veins, which sometimes arise or get worse during pregnancy.

Some women develop varicose veins for the first time during pregnancy as their uterus expands and places more pressure on their circulatory system. To help reduce the odds you will suffer from discomfort, sometime around 21 weeks pregnant consider investing in a pair of support hose. Use them first thing in the morning before you rise, and you'll find your legs feel much stronger and are less likely to swell during a long day of activity.
