Every Baby is a Miracle
I believed it before I became a doctor, hence my chosen field. My belief became even stronger with the first baby I helped bring into the world. The awe has not worn off all these years later, nor do I believe it ever will. First time moms are filled with awe - they're entering a new reality with the birth of their first child. Experienced moms feel that same awe, because they realize that each pregnancy, each delivery, each baby is unique.

No matter how many families I work with, I am always amazed by the strength and beauty of mothers as they work to bring their babies into the world, by the pure joy on the face of new fathers, by the love which fills the air as a couple meets their child for the first time, by the wonder of new little lives taking their first breaths and first embraces.

What awaits you in the delivery room? A lot of work, a lot of pain, a lot of determination, a lot of anticipation, a lot of excitement, a lot of love, and the greatest miracle of all. New life.
