3. Exercise.
It improves overall health, which in turn, improves your emotional health. Exercise is good for you - body, mind and soul.
Go to the gym, take a walk, go for a swim...just get moving. Get that heart rate up for 20 or more minutes at least three times a week by participating in pregnancy safe exercise.
It's good for baby, it's good for you and it's good for those who care about you. Encourage your loved ones to work out with you. Their stress levels and health will improve right along with yours.
4. Eat right.
A healthy diet obviously benefits your physical health, but it's also helpful in maintaining emotional health, as well. Your emotional health is one more reason to cut out the processed foods, increase the intake of whole grains, choose leaner meats and fortify yourself with fresh fruits and vegetables.
Making positive food choices isn't really a luxury; it's a necessity for a healthy, happy pregnancy.
Eating healthy throughout the day helps you maintain your blood sugar, keeps you from feeling too hungry at vulnerable times of the day and keeps your energy levels consistent.
