Here's your chance to satisfy your healthy cravings or catch up on whatever food groups you didn't quite maximize for the day. Milk and graham crackers for you milk and cookie lovers. Fruit and cheese for you sophisticated types. A bowl of oatmeal if you're feeling a bit hungrier than usual. Even half a turkey sandwich, if that's what your body is telling you it needs. Eat something which will satisfy both your soul and your dietary needs.

Since dinner is probably a little earlier these days, snack time between eight and nine at night will "top you off" before your eight hour fast. It's best to eat your last snack at least an hour before bed for easier digestion. Eating too close to bedtime may give you an upset tummy or heartburn, so if you're an early to bed kind of woman these days, be sure to remain in an upright position for at least a half hour before reclining on the couch or going to bed.
