As a mom of three young children, I see the importance and urgency to teach kids the Word of God. I love to write, and I also love to have fun! So, I thought a good way to teach would be through captivating books and illustrations and creative and lively games. Children can be taught, even from infancy, about the Lord. As soon as they begin to speak, they can recite Scripture. The Bible says, "Train up a child in the way that he should go." (Prov. 22:6) It is my belief that parents must sow the Word into children's hearts.
With the ABC Bible Memory Verses Placemat and CD, little ones will learn a Bible memory verse for each letter of the alphabet. The Bible also says, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." (Rom. 12:17) So, I recorded the Bible verses onto disc so that everyone can hear the verses as they follow along on the chart or placemat.
The ABC Devotional Book is an easy to understand devotional book for kids that brings big truths about God into personal understanding and everyday life. This devotional book for kids follows the ABC Bible Memory Verses Placemat and CD and asks questions, gives examples and closes each lesson with a prayer.
Michaelphone and the Next Big Head Contest is the first children's book I wrote. Through this book, I wanted to show that God has given all of us certain gifts, but they are from Him, and not of ourselves. The illustrations by Bettie Haller are phenomenal, and they are sure to capture your child's attention. Each character in Michaelphone and the Next Big Head Contest is an instrument including Michaelphone, the microphone. One day I was thinking about how kids love to talk about their bodies! I began a search through the Bible to find Scriptures that talk about the eyes, ears, heart, and on and on! That was the beginning of The Word I Know From Head to Toe, a Bible memory verse game that includes 15 different Bible verses that refer to body parts! I also recorded the Bible memory verses on disc so that everyone can hear them. It is fun and interactive as I give the children instructions to help with memorization and then after they have memorized the verses, they can play the game using the cards.
